STUDENT WORK

Looking at a resort house in Alibag India called "House on a Stream" by Architect BRIO, I decided to look deeper into how they created the sense of heaviness and lightness through opacity, layering, materiality, and formal moves.

I translated my studies into these facets into an infill suburban context in northern North America, using the concepts of heaviness, lightness, and density to dictate forms, opacity, circulation and positioning of program.
