“PARADOXICAL CONTINUITY”

Re-examining relationships between constructed collectives, expressed both formally and socially, this proposal explores the divisions between the individual & the collective, the single & the many, and the whole & the partial, incomplete, and disaggregated. Using ambiguous thresholds and partially visible spaces, discrete volumes are experientially linked. The resulting volumes intersect, shift, and unfold around each together, never fully resolving.

This proposal is simultaneously a consequence of the intersection of the many and the destruction of one entire; the ambiguity between these two states interrupts traditional expectations of domestic life.
