STUDENT WORK

Lot 9 explores the gradient of exercise; from mall walker to Olympic weightlifter through a kit of parts strategy. From a studio lottery, an eclectic list of variables was selected to guide the design process including “exercise stuff”, “construction stuff”, and “plastic”. The kit of parts strategy led to an exploration of the intersections of exercise spaces with that of sites of construction, including temporary platform, temporary assembly, and temporary tectonic exposure.
