STUDENT WORK 

This project is a fully immersive, communal gym and spa designed to facilitate the vitality of the community. The whole building is in the form of a grand staircase, which angles back on itself as it descends into the ground. There are different various exercise rooms on the roof. People can take a rest and exercise outside on the different scales steps. After the exercise, they can enter the building from the roof entrance or the main entrance near the road. The space on the first floor is mainly for rest, where there is a large terraced sleeping space. Echoing this communal sleeping space, is the stepped communal dining space below. The underground cafeteria, sauna and the sinking Korean SPA area form a place for leisure and relaxation.
